— How It Works —
Signal, not noise
01
First, we read the news
Crypto news domains, wires and blogs are read around the clock, and every story is filed under the universes it belongs to: prices and trading, regulation, DeFi and more. Every article is counted as soon as it is collected.
02
Then, we merge reprints into stories
Articles from different domains about the same news become one story. So instead of a feed of headlines you see one story and how many domains carry it — forty domains on one event mean something very different from one article nobody picked up.
03
Then, we score the attention
Every story gets an attention score on a fixed scale from 0 to 100 — how loud it is right now: its reach, its spread and its speed. The top stories follow what is being told this hour, so a story that loses momentum drops.
04
And we read the tone
A language model rates every article positive, neutral or negative. The tone index is the positive articles minus the negative ones as a share of the two: 50 means they balance. It describes coverage; it is not a forecast.
— About us —
We turn the news into something you can read at a glance
CryptoAttention tracks how the crypto news is told, universe by universe, from prices and trading to regulation, DeFi and stablecoins. Behind every move there is a story: a headline that spread faster than expected, a tone that turned overnight.
We read the coverage around the clock, merge reprints into stories and rate their tone, so you see what is being said right now, not what was said yesterday. The last 24 hours are free; history and the API come with Pro.
